About the Author

The author smoked for a total of 31 years. She quit smoking "cold turkey" years ago, enduring horrible withdrawal symptoms, and gaining 30 pounds in the process. Before long, she went back to smoking, vowing never to quit again. She lost the weight and continued to smoke, ignoring the health problems associated with smoking. Recently, realizing she might have a serious illness, she faced the harsh realities of the harmful effects of smoking. She decided she had to quit. Concerned about weight gain and the fact that she enjoyed smoking too much to quit, she developed her own smoking cessation program. Her program enabled her to happily quit smoking, with minimal withdrawal symptoms, and without gaining weight. It has been over a year since she quit, and she's confident that she will never smoke again. She wrote this book in order to share her program with others, in the hopes that they, too, would happily quit smoking, and do so without weight gain.

Frankly, I quit smoking 19 years ago and had such a difficult time quitting that my curiosity was piqued when I noticed this book for sale. I purchased and read it and have to say that I believe that if I had the knowledge imparted by this book when I had quit, I would have fared so much better. I only wish this book was around 19 years ago. The quitting process would have been so much easier and I wouldn't have gained so much weight. I can affirmatively say that I feel it's a foolproof method and I recommend it highly for any and all smokers.
