4.0 out of 5 stars Bilingual Hardcore Punk, August 7, 1999
By A Customer
Union 13 mix politics and guitars in a thrashing mess that recalls the original LA punk scene. Much has been made about their bilingualism. However it should be noted that the LA punk scene was always heavy with Chicanos. This is just a new chapter and a new decade. As the band says, "Todo es politico!"

Hard and fast. And you can learn Spanish.
7 Seconds meets SNFU meets Minor Threat.
Excellent old-school hardcore punk.
I liked it enough to write this review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly Inspirational, April 7, 2001
Though i am relatively new to the "punk" scene (and it's politically introspective music) i have listened to alot of old stuff and new-dare i say "pop-punk" (though there shouldn't be such a thing)-i found this Union 13 album to be an explosively energetic and emotional recording. It is very oldschool and raw. This is one of my favorite albums, though most of my friends think I'm crazy. Songs like REGRETS and BONDED AS ONE instantly place a powerful feeling of individuality and unity within you at the same time. TODO ES UNA POLITICA has great lyrics, and I CANT STAND IT ANYMORE is one of the most beautifully crafted songs i've heard a punk band preform. From OVER THE HILL onward the album is outstanding. This is their best album: Epitaph seems to be forcing them to sing songs only in English, but at the same time they are taking away the very thing that makes them Union 13...i recommend this recording for anyone seeking to wake up out of their routine life.
