About the Author

Stephanie Yuen was born in Hong Kong and has lived in Vancouver for more than thirty years. She speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and English and worked as a journalist for Sing Tao, the Vancouver Chinese newspaper, before developing a career as a freelance food journalist. She now writes for Edible BC, EAT, Vancouver Magazine and has her own blog about Asian food: beyondchopsticks.com. Stephanie co-founded the Vancouver Chinese Restaurant Awards.

Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I bought this book for my daughter- we both love to cook and explore restaurants, especially Asian. We are lucky enough to live directly below Vancouver and the number of Asian restaurants is a bit intimidating so this book is both a cookbook and a travel guide for us.

Beautifully done and even if you don't live close, the recipes are great.
