A couple of years ago, I participated in Perspectives on World Missions Class. One of the things we grew to learn was that God created the different people groups to give Him praise in the unique ways that only they could.

Robin Mark is one of the examples of Irish praise & worship for the Lord. I greatly enjoyed Revival in Belfast (an to a lesser degree Revival in Belfast II). This album marks a departure from the live recording to a studio production. But that is not a bad thing. Robin's songs are honest and humble. They exalt God in ways that are not worship songs with an Irish flair. They are truly worship from the Irish people using their musical styles, instruments and more.

This is an excellent album. I love the songs and the instrumentation. My favorite song so far is "Lost And Found." It is honest and so true. "At The Dawning" talks about worshiping God regardless of the circumstances.

My advice is purchase this album and you will be blessed.

I have been a big fan of Revival in Belfast. It's one of those CDs that I listen to regularly so I was excited when I read a review that called East of the River "Robin's best release since Revival in Belfast".

Upon listening to the CD I did find a few favorites, songs that stuck in my head and touched my heart. I found the expected honesty and purity of Robin Mark, but what I feel is missing is the energy of Revival in Belfast. Maybe that energy comes from a live recording, but I feel like there's an edge that is missing in East of the River. It still is an enjoyable album, but I wouldn't put it on par with Revival in Belfast.

Robin has done it again! Someone gave me the Revival I and II Cds. I loved them (especially Revival I), and I never for a moment thought I'd find any music that is equal to them. But I have: East Of The River and Come Heal This Land, both by Robin Mark. These albums are at least as good!!! The more I listen, the more I love them. Buy them! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!
