Egg decorating has been a tradition in my family ever since I was a child - dying eggs, cascarones, icon painting, etc. The book features simple to advanced egg projects, so there is something for everyone. However, I believe that even the "advanced" projects could be done by an average crafter. The projects in the book are perfect for parents and elementary school teachers, but could be used as clean canvases by profesional artists to express themselves in their own uique way.

Very fun! Eggs take on new life and fun projects in this book. Some are harder than others and the difficulty ranges depending on your crafting skills but none are too out of control. Most of the things can be done with tools you have around the house and crafting things that tend to collect. Photos are bright and cheery but only of the finished projects; I wish there were some of them during the creative process but it's not detrimental to the books overall design and purpose.
Great book for crafters of all ages. I did some with the girls in my neighborhood and it was fun for everyone.

The author appeared on a TV show recently, which is where I found out about the book. It is detailed and shows more than he was able to on the show. I gave it to my wife for Easter (post) and she said it gave her some good ideas about craft projects for her students.

I was very disappointed in Matthew Mead's book. I was looking forward to it because I enjoy all of his ideas and have used several of his ideas myself. But don't waste your money on this one. I didn't feel inspired at all !
