Posy Carmichael, newest member of The Outdoor Life magazine staff, is given the worst of the Easter bank holiday assignments - review a campground located on a farm in Cornwall. When her friend is surprised with a weekend for two in Rome, Posy is forced to go alone, even though she's never camped before. Befriended by the woman who runs the campground and attracted to the woman's brother, Posy must not reveal her true identity until the article is written and submitted.
Farmer Noah Penwarren reluctantly goes along with his sister's matchmaking and finds he is attracted to Posy. His former fiancée's duplicity has left him wary of women in general and "city girls" in particular. When Noah's sister discovers Posy's occupation, and the real reason she has pitched her tent at High View Farm campsite, he feels justified in his belief that no city girl can be trusted.
Nell Dixon has written a lovely, sweet romance with refreshing, honest, down-to-earth characters. Her descriptions of Cornwall will make you want to book your own Easter Holiday.
