5.0 out of 5 stars These books are good for finding the lights that are in them, May 25, 2002

There are directions and other info for finding and visiting lighthouses. They do not always show all lights for a given area. The photos are all color. I own 3 of these books. There are not many other guide books out there so if you are looking for guide books these are good to have. Since there are so many books in this series I thought I'd help people find them easier. This is the series.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great picture book for lighthouse lovers, August 3, 2000
This review is from: Eastern Great Lakes Lighthouses (Lighthouse Series) (Paperback)
Bruce Roberts may be the best lighthouse photographer working in America. Any of the books by him and his partner Ray Jones are well worth owning. They include great lighthouse photos, a little story from Jones about each one and directions as to how to get to them. The lighthouse lover could scarcely ask for more.

The photgraphy is beautiful and the stories well written and informative. Directions to lighthouses are pretty good. I was disappointed that every light was not included. They actually only cover selected lighthouses. I have since found a real good book that covers all lighthouses in the eastern Great Lakes.
