This movie is a good Robin Shou flick if you are a Robin Shou fan. If not and you like kung-fu or action movies, then this movie is pretty good too. Robin Shou plays a good role as a bad guy.

The martial arts scenes are well done. They are not dancey, meaning that they do not do flashy moves just to impress people (or try to impress) such as flipping over someone. The fights are hardcore and excellent. The fight scenes are fast paced and they have many grapling and throwing moves. More down to earth Martial Arts in an actual fight sequence. I like that a lot. The mnor downfall is that I was able to spot out a few stunt men here and there, but not too much to the point where it would be annoying. The gunshots you must prepare for, because when someone gets shot, it is not fatal most of the time, and the characters just continue on. I guess that makes it dramatic...or not.

This is a kung-fu movie and so the plot is "ok". The dialogue drags on and so does the story in the beginning 30 minutes. If you are brave and tolerant enough to sit through that and understand whats going on, the movie picks up in the middle and gets intense and pretty good. I started being bored with it and ended up satisfied in the end.

This movie is Not rated, but I think it should be rated R. Very hardcore story about vengeance both bad guys and good guys and the battle between them. Its not one of the greatest movies ever made, but they did put good effort into it. Personally, I love the movie. Hope you enjoy it if you are into this stuff.

i was really disappointed by this movie. It was just not my type of movie. If you are into cop movies and hard core violence, then you will like this. There was a rape scene, and 2 pregnant women got killed. Totally turned me off..and I am a hard core Robin Shou fan. Extrememly disappointed...plot very hard to follow at first. Wouldn't recommend it.
