This book begins by detailing a brief history of the western contact with Asia as well as it's historical perceptions. Then it moves on to the more esoteric aspects of Asia, including religious beliefs. There is also a great section on the famous Gurus of the 60's, 70's and 80's. There are also many wonderful photos accompanying the text.
