5.0 out of 5 stars Eastern Pacific Nudibranchs - Another Gem from Behrens, December 12, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Eastern Pacific Nudibranchs: A Guide to the Opisthobranchs from Alaska to Central America (Paperback)
Behrens has established himself as the world's pre-eminent authority on nudibranchs, that bizarre family of marine snails that might, as a group, be the most beautiful animals in the world. In this latest book he, and new partner Alicia Hermosillo, have expanded his previous "Pacific Coast" nudibranch guides southward to include many beautiful and rare species from the Pacific and Sea of Cortez coasts of Mexico. The photography and descriptions are superb. Every marine enthusiast must have this book on his or her shelf.
