About the Author
Joseph E. Garland is the author of many books, including Lone Voyager, The Gloucester Guide, Down to the Sea, Adventure, Beating to Windward, and Beam Reach. His books with Commonwealth Editions include The North Shore, Eastern Point, and Bear of the Sea. He lives on Eastern Point in Gloucester with his wife, Helen.
