Outstanding musical arrangments played by a fine group
of talented instrumentalists. Each song on this CD should
please all those devotees of the great 50's and early 60's
Jazz Genre. The musicians are all leaders in ther own right
as they weave a very very cool and impressive tapestry of
songs. The entire CD is refreshing. If you enjoy real Jazz,
then you'll love this CD. It is Masterful from beginning to
end. So sit back and enjoy. Highly Reccommended!

I am a jazz drummer outside of philly and i know wendal personally. I have studied and played with him for years and he is definately one of philly's finast. As well as wendal, you can get a great taste of philly from this CD listening to John Swana and bassist Madison Rast, whom i have also played with.

I currently study with Wendell Hobbs and not only is he an amazing jazz educator, but he is also an amazing player and preformer. Wendell's stylistic soloing and tonal ideas are simply mind blowing. I would recomend this record to any jazz lover who wants to hear one of Philly's finest tenor players. And featuring John Swana.. we'll don't even get me started on him!
