Jordan's straightforward narrative provides no real critical analysis or broad integration of the material but does present a large amount of information in a limited space. Interesting Overview,

This is an interesting overview of Eastern religions, but there is a question about the caption under the photo of Ravi Shankar and Geoge Harrison (Page 37), which says something about their connection with the Hari Krishna movement. I don't think this is correct, as both of these famous musicians are always speaking about Paramahansa Yogananda (founder of Self-Realization Fellowship), and sharing their favorite book, "Autobiography of a Yogi" by the same great yogi.Other recommended books; A World in Transition, God Talks with Arjuna (commentary and trans of the Bhagavad Gita), Finding the Joy Within You, Man's Eternal Quest,
