i have had six pairs of these shoes in the last 6 years. the shoe will usually last almost a year for me and then the eyelets and other things will go wrong from wear. the last two pairs of shoes i have had the bottom sole split and they were impossible to wear anymore. i use to love the way the shoe wears and the comfort i get wearing them BUT i am not sure about getting them anymore since the last two split in about three months of wear. would like to find maybe another brand just like these and see how well they hold up

2nd pair of these Eastlands. First ones lasted 5 years or so. Comfortable, fit well, wear with mostly anything. Well built.

I did not need to do much sole search when I found this product available. Its a great comfortable shoe that is nice and wide.

I purchased this shoe in Dec. and love the shoe. It is comfortable and looks nice. One problem, I use this shoe as a work shoe and walk a lot in them. Which brings me to the BUT. The sole of the shoe is starting to split, maybe I got one that was defective, don't know. Man this was disappointing because I like the way the shoe feels. I think this is a good causual shoe not for heavy work, I give the shoe 3 stars because of the sole. Other than the sole, great shoe.

This is the third pair of these shoes I have purchased. They are comfortable to wear and walk in. You feel like you are wearing snikers, but have the support of hard shoes. The soles and leather never wear out. Eastland needs to improve the portion of the shoe that rubs against your ankle. It is the only portion that wears out resulting in the need to purchase a new pair. This area does not seem to be repairable. Otherwise the shoe wears and looks great and they last quite a long time before the ankle area starts to wear.

This is my husband's second pair from Eastland. The first one last 5 years and I know this one will.

My husband previously had a pair of these shoes & used them for work. Wearing them approx 5 days/week for about 3 years, he finally wore them out. He was glad to see they still made them! I'll be ordering another pair for him, soon, to wear with casual clothes.
