This pot is of good quality and will fit 8 1 1/2 lb lobsters or 10 1-1 1/4 lobsters.

Have had this two years and overall it's done fantastic. I use it about 25 times per crab season and it's done well. EXCEPT for the small stand that keeps the steamer insert from touching the bottom. This might not have been the same quality stainless as the pot and insert. It rusted out after one year and became useless. I had to rig up my own device to keep the steamer out of the bottom of the pot. Outside of that, the pot is very useful. Usually the blue enamel crab pots I tried died after two years. This has gotten me two years and it looks like will last much, much longer. I recommend it.
