Constructed from durable stainless steel, the heater's element features both high and low settings, topping out at 40,000 Btu's. A 36-inch radiant dome reflector generates vortex heat that reaches up to 20 feet in diameter, raising the surrounding temperature 10 to 20 degrees F. A safety shutoff valve guards against accidental overheating, and the unit's controls are placed high on the body. The trunk of the heater is also stainless steel and stores a standard 20-pound LP gas cylinder behind a screw-tight protective door. With a bottom drain for easy removal, the base holds 28 pounds of water or 44 pounds of sand for added stability. For extra comfort and convenience, the heater comes with a durable plastic table that adjusts from 33 to 39 inches. The heater must be operated at least 36 inches from walls or ceilings and is not suitable for outdoor weather below 40 degrees F. It measures 87 inches tall and 39 inches in diameter.
