Affordable and hold true.

I can't say about the smoothness for the bearing on the old wheelsets were shot. But I notice just a tad slower response to accelerations, but it's easier to hold at speed.

My wheelset are paired with Continental Grand Prix 4000 tire. This rim and tire combo is really hard to undo. Steel tire lever is recommended. At first, I like the tightness, just in case there's a blow out when going downhill over 30mph.

On the other hand, you WILL damage your wheel EVERYTIME you undo the tire in a flat. The fastest time to replace a single flat is somewhere between 20-40 minutes in a comfort of my garage.

Easton Bell Sport have a good customer service and they will take the wheel back and repair/upgrade to troubleshoot the problem. The customer service time table is, however, a bit C.S.N. (Commonsensical Sub-Normal). While they will work and repair your problem, it will take between to 1-2 weeks to get your wheel fixed. Then, if you do not send the wheel with a return service label, it would, most likely, take another 1-2 weeks. For a rider seasonal/yearly schedule, that is a time frame somewhere close between the start of construction of the Great Wall till the recent boom in Chinese economy give or take a few dynasty.

Never buy Easton product. I do not think that they have any idea on how to develop, design, and support a product line-up.

If you think that this wheelset is cheap than you are probably are dead wrong. Please continue saving your money for a proper, while still cheap, wheelset.
