About Easton
In 1922, Doug Easton began crafting custom wood bows and cedar arrows in Watsonville, California. Although Doug produced tournament-grade, footed cedar arrows for the archery champions of that era, he was constantly frustrated with the inconsistency and lack of uniformity of wood shafts. Convinced that consistently straight uniform arrow shafts were impossible to manufacture from wood, Doug turned his attentions to aluminum. In 1939, he began manufacturing aluminum arrows in Los Angeles. His instincts about this material were correct, and in 1941, California archer Larry Hughes won the national championship with a set of Doug's aluminum arrows. This was the beginning of a trend that would change traditional archery and transcend into numerous other sports arenas over the next 50 years. Considered one of the world's preeminent innovators, designers, and manufacturers of sporting equipment, Easton has a reputation of producing products for the highest level of performance.

Poor quality, cannot replace net,
This review is from: Easton Playback Trainer - Adult Size (Sports)
I bought this for my son but within a year we began to have significant problems. The S-curves gradually fall off, and we are at the point that we want to buy a new replacement net, but unlike other companies (Louisvill Slugger for one), Easton does not sell a replacement net. So many of the s-hooks are gone now, it has no tension. For the 80$+ we had to pay for it, this is not worth the money. They should at least sell replacement hooks and a net. They give two stakes to anchor the pitch back to the ground, but it is not really enough. They need to give more. If you use it for anything besides a baseball (soccer for example, they say you casn I think), the rebounder will fall off. This is my first time writing a negatvie review, annoyed enough to do so. Note other companies have pitchbacks that do not have s-hooks, they use more permanent catches that should be better.

I purchased this product for my 8-yr.old son...he spends hours playing alone and with friends using this item. The frame is extremely sturdy and has held up to sprinklers and the AZ sun for several months. I'm having to replace the net w/in the first year, which is the reason for 4 stars.
