This is NOT like the fine powder rosin that is good for just drying your hands.Used this when I played O-Lotto-baseball and didn't want to use pine tar as that was a mess. This is rock rosin, which will dry your hands, but also make them a bit tacky, which is great especially if you are kickin' it old school as I did and do not wear batting gloves when hitting. Works with both aluminum and wood bats as well. I would use this over pine tar any day of the week and twice on Tuesday.
