Not a bad bat. This bat feels good in your hands but suffers from not having much pop. If you play competition softball it's pretty much just a practice bat.

Great practice bat. Wouldn't use in any competition leagues unless your a singles hitter. Very light and balanced bat. Feels like a composite bat!!

Like others have said, this does not have the same level of pop as a more expensive composite bat, or even a higher performing single-wall aluminum bat. I feel that this is because it meets both ASA and USSSA ratings. That said, the 7050 aluminum is quite durable and this would make for a decent practice bat, or inexpensive bat for hitting singles in recreational leagues if you are not serious about competition. The feel at impact is that of a metallic "ping" with quite a bit of vibration in the grip. I found this bat for half the price locally, so it is great as an all-around bat or a backup team bat. Composites are easily twice as expensive, and won't necessarily be any better performing if your technique isn't that good.

Overall: 4/5 stars, great Easton quality, has held up to numerous games and BP over the season, very strong metallic PING sound (which sounds odd in a league where composites are allowed), comfortable grip.
