The paint covers very easily- no runs, has sort of a plastic feel before it's cured. After you run the engine and heat up the exhaust manifolds, the paint cures rock hard. It looks like clean, bare cast iron. Durable, looks great.

I used this paint to paint an exhaust housing on a turbo. It immediately started to peel. The housing must have exceeded the temperature rating for the paint.
