There are hundreds of titles out there, and they all say pretty much the same thing - "invest in real estate and you can save taxes!" But they are, for the most part, noticeably lacking on the "how" part, leaving you needing expensive help to carry through with their ideas. Until this book! Diane lays it on the line with real, concrete information that fills in the "how," right down to the bookkeeping entries. The thing that struck me about this book is the depth and generosity of the information. Given that Diane is a working CPA, she could easily have hoarded this information dribbling out just enough to get you hooked, but she didn't. I have read all of Diane's books, and in my opinion the quality of information continually rises. If you don't want to spend all of your tax-savings on outside assistance, READ THIS BOOK!

Book that could be great,

I have repeatedly turned to this book to help me with real estate accounting and am often frustrated that there is not sufficient detail or breadth to actually answer my questions. This book seems to have been very hastily written and in my opinion should be revised and expanded. I hope that the authors will prepare an expanded version of this book, but purchasers should realize that in its present form it is only marginally useful.
