Even the photos in the book are bad,
By Tom Nardone (Hazel Park, Michigan) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Easy Auction Photography: A Product Photography Guide For Everyone Who Sells On The Internet (Paperback)
I bought this book to help my product photography skills. I am an amateur photographer that needs to photograph things that I sell online. I was really, really disappointed.
I knew I was in trouble when the photos on the cover of the book were bad. When I opened the book it was even worse. The book is laden with low-res, out of focus images that look terrible. Could this book save itself when it came to giving advice on photo editing? Nope. The author uses Paint Shop Pro to edit photos. My god! What is going on here? How can you write a photography book and not talk about Photoshop or at least Photoshop elements. This book must have been self-published because no editor in the universe would have let it hit the presses. It is full of terrible work. How can a photography book look this bad? |
