I just had total left hip replacement and needed a secure chair to sit in. Decided to get a recliner with a power lift and decided on this model. It has been a life saver. I have used it since I got home from the hospital and being 350 pounds, this chair has performed beautifully. It helps greatly in standing and the the reclining feature with power raising of the legs was very beneficial to my recovery. It also gives all day sitting comfort so it can be the primary chair without fatigue.

This chair makes it very easy for me to sit down and get up. I have arthritis in my knees and back and this chair really helps me. The fabric is nice and the chair back and seat are comfortable.

I ordered this chair for my 84 year old father who just had knee replacement surgery. First, it was a week late being delivered. Second, when delivered, the delivery service refused to bring it inside the house. They just left this 135 lb. chair at my father's front door. Luckily, I had just arrived, visiting for Christmas, and between myself and my brother-in-law managed to get up a flight of stairs to the den. Anyway, the chair works wonderfully, and helps my father get up, which is what was what was the hardest thing for him to do after his surgery.

Purchased for an ailing parent. Works great, it reclines for relaxing and lifts to make getting out of the chair easier for those with strength problems. The fabric and the construction of the chair are very solid. The cushioning on the chair at first was fairly stuff, but became softer and more comfortable with each use. Would highly recommend to a friend.

Great chair for a great price. My mother loves it - she was unable to get out of a regular recliner and now she has no problems getting up out of her lift chair. The chair is also extemely quiet while performing it's lifting and recling movements.

Purchased this chair for my 90 year old mother. She was having difficulty getting on and off the couch. And, my back was suffering from assisting her. This chair has helped immensely. The quality and price are very good. It is a good looking chair which I believe would make an attractive addition to any existing furniture style. Would highly recommend to anyone who is considering such a purchase. It was delivered earlier than expected and you need to know that the delivery people will not bring it into the house.

I placed an order to have this lift chair shipped to my mother's home. The chair was not delivered when promised. I tracked the shipment and found that it was just sitting in the shipper's distribution center. I contacted Amazon.com, and my mother contacted the shipper to determine why the chair was being held at the distribution center. The shipper stated that they did not receive her telephone number from Amazon.com. I had provided the number when I placed the order. Amazon.com contacted the shipper, and the shipper promptly scheduled delivery. (This is the first time that I have had a problem with a drop shipment.)

My mother loves the chair. It is so comfortable that she reclines it and naps in it. The lift mechanism makes it significantly easier for her to stand up than when she sits on her sofa. Note: A tall (5'10") female relative tried sitting in the chair and said it was too small for her to sit comfortably in it. I have not seen the chair, so I can't comment on its size.

My Dad has been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy and was having a very difficult time getting up on his own. This chair is wonderful. He's able to get up by himself and easily sit back down and then recline comfortably. Very quiet operation.
