If you willing to be rigorously honest with yourself this book can help you recognize where you are going wrong or right in relationships. It helped me recognize that what I was feeling was ok and I was right to set boundaries and stick to them. Most of us couldn't recognize a "normal" relationship if it smacked us across the face, relearning how to function as a sober person is difficult, this book helped me immensely.

I'm in recovery and the whole dating /relationship issue is hugh for me. I need all the guidance and help I can get. I like this book. To me it is just a little more support. Most of the people I know in recovery could benefit from this. In a new relationship we tend to get messed up and our recovery needs to still be our number one priority. No matter how long we have been clean and sober. The more we hear that message the better and healthier we and our relationships can be.
