I recently bought this book.

While it is an easy beginning workbook, it is a Workbook of Exercises for Practicing French for those with some basic knowledge already. It is Not a book for the complete beginner. It doesn't take you through learning, it takes you through Practicing beginning French.

Great workbook! . The instructions are easy to follow and it is very well structured. Every chapter has the answers to the exercises so you can review your writing.

This book is a compendium of fun exercises (from form-filling to questionnaires to crossword puzzles and word searches) which will test the beginner in a variety of situations. A useful tool for teachers and students alike.

I am trying to learn French again after many years. I needed a book to read in French that was not too difficult. This one is quite good. Our little class uses it (there are 4 of us). We meet with our French teacher at Barnes & Noble bookstore on Monday afternoons and we read this book and some French newspapers. The Fr newspapers are very difficult. I am always relieved to get to this book because I can read and understand it and it is helping me build vocabulary and comprehension.

Another good workbook for my quest to learn French.This one may be a little too elemental for intermediate students,but it will help with reviewing what you think you already know,and may not!
This is one of my favorites.I think it is a great help to me,and I hope,to you.

I love this book! Having studied French in high school of college many years ago, I have a much neglected background in the language. Now that I want to renew my interest in foreign languages, using "Easy French Exercises" has given me a fun and easy to practice and review words and phrases I used to be familiar with. I'm still good with the written language, it's being comfortable with the speaking part that I want to renew. This book lets me work with simple, common words and phrases and, when I read aloud, gives me a chance to practice using the language once again. I'm very glad I made this purchase.

So apparently there is some kind of textbook/CD that is supposed to accompany this. I didn't realise this when I ordered it, but it says on the front cover "The Just Listen and Learn Method" and the back cover also indicates that it is supposed to be used in conjunction Just Listen and Learn French. I wish there had been some mention of this somewhere on Amazon. I'd love to be able to use the book. It looks like a decent workbook. But it is clearly not a stand-alone workbook and I'm struggling to use it as such. Buyer beware, I guess.

The book was advertised as new, but when it arrived there were answers written on the first three pages of the workbook. Not a big deal, but should not have been advertised as new.
