I found this dictionary very easy to use. Easy on the eye. Keep in mind that it is a beginning volume. I quickly found weak spots. Of course, the price is right, and the summary doesn't promise an all inclusive refrence book.

I would recommend this guide to middle school students and possibly early high schoolers. The dictionary itself is indeed "easy on the eyes," with clean white paper and large, clear text. The price is good. However, a word of caution: it has a rather weak vocabulary, which is its biggest flaw. If it were more extensive (much more), I would give it 5 1/2...

I would recommend this guide to middle school students and possibly early high schoolers. The dictionary itself is indeed "easy on the eyes," with clean white paper and large, clear text. The price is good. However, a word of caution: it has a rather weak vocabulary, which is its biggest flaw. If it were more extensive (much more), I would give it 5 1/2 stars. As it is, though, I found myself shopping for something more powerful; I went to France and had to rely on another dictionary for most of my translations.
