We use two of them over our deck, with one mounted about 6 inches lower than the other, and mounted so that the "point" is on opposite sides. Not only is it attractive (compared to what the Easy Gardener 10910 Sun Sail Square Sun Shade, Beige looks like), but it also allows plenty of breeze. This is our 2nd year, and the fabric is holding up really well. We did deduct 1 star because the packaging picture shows the long sides as straight. Actually, when the fabric is pulled tight, the long sides concave.

This is the second sun shade my family and I have hung over our pool, because we liked the first one so much, but wanted to increase the coverage. We now have a large shaded area that reduces our need to re-apply SPF over and over. My only disappointment is that the "fabric" maintains the creases from being folded in the small packaging... it doesn't affect the functionality, but a little bit annoying for my detail-oriented awareness.

We installed 3 of these as a patio cover, staggered with a 12" separation. The effect has been similar to the airflow you'd get with a ceiling fan set to low. The surface temp on our house is down over 20'f in the summertime and our pets can be on the cement comfortably. I love these! We used metal, nylon coated cabling with a sliding tensioner and caribener to install. I see this vendor is offering them at a good price. You'll want metal screw in 'o rings' to connect them to, or a fence cap with an 'o' on top, the type you'd use to thread a top rail through on a chain link fence. Total install time: 30min's. Now that we have a camper, I'm getting one more so we can tie it with the nylon ropes between our trailer and campground trees...these are just great.

Nice sail for the price.
This sail worked good for what we needed. A little small, but for the price, you can't beat it. Looks nice and high quality. Might buy another.

Not a useful design
This is not an isosceles triangle thus does not have a 90 degree corner to place into the juncture of two walls. Read more
