This weedblock came in a big roll that was very easy to lay down and cut. You can defintely see the weedblock working in the side of our garden where we laid it compared to the untreated side. Works great and I love that it is all natural for our vegetable garden. My only complaint is that in areas where it rains alot (central PA) it does decompose VERY quickly.

I can't say I care much for this product. In theory, it sounds great and I'm sure it does what it is supposed to do. However, it is very difficult to put down. The slightest breeze will lift and tear it. Even after it is "stapled", the wind still tears it.

This product is great for wide open places that you are planning to cover with bark, but hard to manipulate for pre-planted areas. I nailed it down with the stakes, but it still flew off into my neighbor's yard. Since it was called 'mulch,' I assumed that it would be mulch-like and stay put.

I do plan to use this for the back-garden paths that I have. I will just need to make sure that I'm prepared with heavy mulch or rocks to put on top.

Personally, I'd call this a biodegradable barrier and leave off the mulch word.

I have used fabric and plastic weed block in the past. In a few years, top soil is on top of the weed block and growing weeds. Paper mulch under ceder mulch keeps everything weed free and looking great.

I used this product last year and loved it. I used it for my plants with vines ie. cucumbers, summer and winter squash. Once it was in place it eliminated weeding entirely except closest to the plants. I was able to collect the vegetables with ease. The hours it eliminated made it well worth the price. I plan to use it more extensively this year.

Product arrived very quickly. It is similar to brown wrapping paper and easy to use. I'll know more this fall about biodegradability.
