This is a huge workbook! It has a lot of review. After initially covering a part of grammar: preposition, noun, pronoun, adjective, adverb, conjunction, interjection, the student is then given a lot of practice.

At the beginning of the book Wanda Phillips states that the "student must learn the 50 prepositions... memorized" I absolutely agree. No more guess work with what word is a preposition. There are 53 in this workbook but if you take them one letter at a time they will not be hard to learn, " about, above, across after, against, along, amid, among, around, at, atop." We use hand motions to go along with the preposition which really helps cement the words in our heads. When those are learned you move on to the B's.

Phillips reasoning is that if you can identify prepositions and eliminate all prepositional phrases in a sentence, you will be able to identify subject, verb, direct object etc. a lot easier because you, for example, won't be confusing a beginning prepositional phrase with being the subject of the sentence.

Mastery is the key to grammar and this book helps you get there.

We use this for my homeschooled 7th grader's grammar course. Similar to prior easy grammar books but slightly more advanced.

Easy Grammar Plus is a wonderful resource for grammar learning and reinforcement. This particular book includes all the grammar that is presented in the elementary thru middle school grades. Used extensively by homeschoolers, this program is really just lessons and drills that help the student learn English grammar in a clear and concise manner. No entertainment or color-just learning. The pages for the students are reproducible and the teacher's answers are on the opposite page. There are enough drills to learn the parts of speech and grammar very well.

We used the entire Easy Grammar program in our homeschool and both our (now adult) children find it much easier to learn new languages because they both have solid foundations in grammar. I purchased this book again so that I could review my own grammar for college writing and I went from a "C" to an "A-" in just 4 weeks.

Improve your reading and writing skills by using this book to learn or review English grammar. You will not be disappointed.

teacher and I found this book very beneficial.

This book starts with the prepositional phrases, which is different than most texts. I bought it as a required book for my English class. The ample exercises and author perspective help the student to understand gammar better. It does contain a few minor errors, but is a great buy for someone looking for a different approach to learning grammar.

I am very dissapointed at this purchase. Book was written in and not in the condition described. It was very difficult to study from a book that was written in and not able to be erased.

I was in a panic with the start of school and my favorite language resource book for 15 years was missing! What was I going to do? Luckily, one of my friends suggested that I try Amazon and I am so glad that I did. My order came quickly and was here even before the school year started! My stress went down tremendously and the quality of the book was fantastic! I would highly recommend this book and this company! I love you!
