Aided by 54 descriptive diagrams drawn by well known medical artist Vivien Cohen, this book is written for individuals with limited reading and cognitive skills.
In simple terms Loving Carefully tells how babies are conceived and how to use birth control to prevent having a baby that is not planned. It clearly describes the various contraceptives and other alternatives to prevent pregnancy (including abstinence), with the advantages and disadvantages of each.
The book also contains descriptions of common sexually transmitted diseases (STD's), or infections (STI's), especially HIV/AIDS. It tells us what to do to prevent giving or getting these diseases and how to receive help to cure them.
