5.0 out of 5 stars works as advertised. no more messy spill...
I bought two just to have a spare. The only bad part was that amazon charged me for two shipping fee. Even though it came from same company. Other than that the product work perfect. I hope they fix this issue. I found this at one of my local water filling store . same price and if I bought it there I would have saved the shipping price even with tax added.

1.0 out of 5 stars 2.5 inches not enough
My center post was about 2.4 inches and once i put the bottle on, the entire bottle was resting on the cap/ball by a quarter inch (as a result, my cap bent and is useless). I would recommend anybody with a post larger than 2 inches just get the extended cap to prevent this type of issue.

4.0 out of 5 stars Easy Load Screw on, October 18, 2010

It works well, discharging some water when you invert the 5 gallon water bottle over the cooler. The ball cock is plastic and wants to float too soon after inversion. If it was stainless steel the cooler's built in extender would lift the ball after inversion not allowing for any water discharge except into the cooler. There is a small amount of spillage compared to inverting without the Easy Load. Do not invert unless you are over the cooler because the ballcock will rise and allow water to discharge from the bottle. A 5 gallon bottle filled is close to 40 pounds. Not an easy task for most people to handle.

5.0 out of 5 stars It Works, January 5, 2012

This product does what it claims. We fill our bottles pretty full. When we get home we remove the cap and place this device on. The ball floats up and allows us to tip the bottle over with very little spillage. There are a few small drips so I flip it over on top of the water dispenser and have no problem. This is an improvement over having no way to stop the water from coming out other than being quick which doesn't always work.
There will be a minute or two that the water doesn't come down. But it does eventually every time. The overall quality seems decent plastic is plastic.

The description said it would fit most standard water bottles. When It arrived and I tried to attach it I found it was too small by quite a bit. I will be returning it. :(

It screws on just fine, but the hole is a little too small for my system and the bottle doesn't rest on the bottom like it should. Depending on your system it will either work great or just not fit right, so check the spike on your system before purchasing this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked Great., October 27, 2011
This review is from: Easy Load - Screw-On (Kitchen)
I bought the longer spout version of the screw on 48 mm safety cap. I had only a few tablespoonful spill. I had water spill all over without the cap. I would recommend this. I used the original screw on lid to bring the water back from the grocery store.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Product so far, August 9, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Easy Load - Screw-On (Kitchen)
When I got a water cooler, I expected that there would be some standardization of the jugs. I'm not sure why I thought this, in retrospect. I suppose it was just naivete, like the way I used to believe some magical laundry fairy used to be the reason I could dump clothes in the laundry room and they'd end up folded at the end of my bed within a few hours.

Pros: Forms a watertight seal on the 5 gallon jug to which it is attached. The ball in cage seems to function well and reliably with minimal leakage during the ever so risky "let's flip this and cross our fingers" maneuver. I mean I wouldn't trust this thing to suspend your jug from midair and use like a hamster bottle, but for that tenuous few seconds, it'll save your behind (from the inevitable fall on a slippery floor).

Cons: At this time I'm not sure I can think of any.

Overall: 5 stars, just because it makes a menial task so trivial.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great!!, May 23, 2011
This review is from: Easy Load - Screw-On (Kitchen)
Does what it says, although I'm not sure why the other reviews would want to walk around their house with an upside down water bottle plugged by a plastic ball. I would definately buy another and recomend this product.
