5.0 out of 5 stars What's the big deal?
Who cares if the liner notes are wrong. Does it really matter?
What's important is that all the songs on both of Keith's albums are on this CD,including "I'm Easy", and that the recordings are very clean. FYI, my liner notes just happened to be correct. Even if it wasn't, big deal!

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm Easy, September 9, 2007

The only bad thing about this CD is that, as a double-album, it is too long for me to listen to all the songs included during my daily commute. One of my favorite things is the interview which is printed on the insert, where Keith talks about what influenced his writing and lists his favorites. He mentions being terrified while performing "I'm Easy" on the Academy Awards show in 1976, and I remember watching that night and thinking that he did look terrified, but being pleased that his song won. He also noted that he prefers the version of "I'm Easy" on the "Nashville" soundtrack, and I agree and recommend ordering both. The best thing about the CD is, of course, Keith's wonderful voice. Much as I enjoy his acting as well, I wish he'd done more albums. I find his writing style and expressions are similar to my own, and thoroughly enjoy this CD.

"Spellbound," the final track of Keith's debut album, is potent in its message and very personal for me these days. That notorious 3-letter-word can cause havoc when you realize there is all that is between you and your partner. What a great CD collection this is! I went looking for it last week on Ammy, thinking how I missed playing my vinyl copy, and was surprised to learn that Keith had recorded another album as well. To say this came as a pleasant surprise is an understatement.

I'm Easy has always been a favorite of mine. Reminiscent of singer/songwriters like James Taylor, Dan Fogelberg, and Gene Clark, the material is mostly mellow with strong country, folk, and blues influences, not to mention heavy romantic poetry that only these guys could get away with in the 70s. I wish there was music of this calibre around now. If you are an incurable romantic, this is right up your alley! Beautiful, highly glossed songs that aren't too slick are appealing as hell for that romantic soul, particularly gorgeous tracks like "Honey Won't You Let Me Be Your Friend," "It's Been So Long," "I'll Be There," and of course "Spellbound." There are gentle blues and soft country ballads, all emoted by Keith's distinctive folksy voice.

Lost and Found is more of the same great stuff, except with a heavier blues edge. Fabulous cover of "Mr. Blue" stealing the show, he also has a great version of Tom Waits' "San Diego Serenade" and a very hippie raggae take on the Beatles' "Rain." My favorite song on here, though? Unquestionably, it would have to be the sweet and sentimental "Joy." Who cares about the track listing people? I didn't have trouble with my copy anyway, and I truly appreciate hearing both I'm Easy and Lost and Found on CD. Good old Ammy. They always find a way to get the public what they want sooner or later. This customer isn't disappointed in the least, and I intend to spend a lot of time listening to this beautiful, romantic 70s' pop album quite frequently.

I couldn't believe it when I first saw that I'm Easy is not in the listing. Impossible. Now I own the CD. Your listing is wrong. For that, I still give it just 1 star, but actually it is a 5-star CD. I have been waiting for I'm Easy on CD. Get yourself a copy too!
