In "Trying Not to Love You" we were left with a cliffhanger, we finally get to see what went down, in Hunter's point of view and it clears up a lot of what happened in the incident, which I might say I'm grateful for because I'm the type of person that likes details. So the first few chapters are a rough read. You could tell how much Kenzie means to Hunter, "what the eff is happening in there?" He's also a determined man when it comes to his son and girl, "yeah, I'm not leaving unless they're both with me." Kenzie, she's still a firecracker, and will not let no one stand between her and her man, "tomorrow please and just so you know by the end of the week, I won't need your assistance. I'll figure out a way to this on my own." I liked when Hunter and Kenzie are together, they're playful and seem at ease, "be careful," I laughed. "You might get breast milk all over you. God only knows when this sh** stops, I'm not even breast feeding." And when sometimes happens between her brother and BFF she's always there the good, the bad, and the punching a girl in the face for taking something to far or doing something at all, "I walked up to Lily and punched her straight in the face." I'm seriously looking forward to Mason and Hailey's story.

We were left with a cliffhanger in the first book [book:Trying Not To Love You|17611313]. I was hoping for a HEA in this book. It seem that this book for stretch out to make Kenzie and Hunter fillers in the book. You get a sneak peak in the relationships with Mason and Hailey told by them. The storyline was interesting but it just seemed to be stretched to make a story. I love Hunter and Kenzie but in this book it was just ok. Tell me the story of the first couple H&K before starting the story of the next couple M&H. I wanted and needed a ending to Hunter's story!!! Then at the end give me a peak at what is coming up with everyone else.

I liked the first book in this series but this book ridiculous. The author took a simple cute read and made it crazy. There seems to be no rhyme our reasoning for anything. The characters introduced as hunters dad and Lynne are there for what? Never tells you..he apparently stalks for no reason. Why did Lynne push to be their nurse? Apparently for no reason. Why is what the dad does a secret from the daughter..he's an FBI agent...and he's working on something but it never gets to the details or the point. Lots of unexplained secrets for no reason. Series is ruined for me

I've waited for this book to release for months and I was not disappointed. Once again I couldn't put it down just like the first one. Megan Smith knows how to keep you laughing and keep you on your feet wondering what's coming next. I read the whole book in one day!!!

Hunter finally has his soul mate CC, after a heartbreaking accident Hunter has to face his demons and prove his love to his family.
Megan Smith did not disappoint, ETLY is a heart retching tale between two young loves. It is full of drama, love, tears, laughs, and tender moments. This book is amazing and deserves some kind of reward.

In hindsight, I didn't really LOVE the first book, but it was relatively enjoyable. This storyline, however, was just absolutely ridiculous. The entire plot hinged on everyone keeping this huge secret from Mackenzie... and it was the LAMEST secret ever. SPOILER - Her dad is an FBI agent and Hunters biological dad is in town- OH NO, KEEP HER IN THE DARK! It's just so dumb it was hard to remain in the story because they drag these "secrets" out for the entire book. All of the characters are just SO anguished and tormented over it - its insane. I definitely won't be getting the next one.
