Readers are provided with information on how to set them up, connect major components, starting them, taking precautions, working with the Windows operating system, setting up the desktop display, choosing a screen saver, using sound, operating programs, going online, downloading programs, and more!      As are other books in Que's popular Easy ... series, this large easy-to-read book is well-suited for students, beginners, small companies, and even senior citizens who desire or may require an illustrated approach to learning. Readers will have no trouble learning how to successfully put computers to use. This book is highly recommended for children of grade school age. This book would make a great beginner's guide too!
