I purchased these as a gift for my Uncle. He has a formula boat that is not designed for fishing. We set up 3 of these easy rodders. The best part is the cup holders are a standard size on all boats. So this product is universal. We set up the fishing rods and ate lunch. Sure enough we hooked a fish on one of the lines. I rushed over to the pole to grab it afraid the pole was going to fly out of the holder and it didn't move. These easy rodders held my fishing pole in place while a fish was bending the pole.

After telling my dad about this product he bought it for his fishing boat. He now uses them instead of the holders that came with the boat!

This is well designed, sturdy and can handle the abuse of a big fish hooking the line.

I highly recommend this product for anybody that has a boat.
