While it's not quite accurate to say that installing Easy Track's RB1460 closet kit is easy, it's certainly a lot simpler than installing your own shelves and wardrobe rods from scratch. First of all, the kit expands from four to eight feet, which means that it will fit in a variety of spaces. Second, the kit gives you a tower with three shelves and up to 13 horizontal feet of wardrobe space. If you want to build on the basic kit once it's installed, Easy Track offers you a wide selection of accessories like shelves, drawers, doors, and so on.
Installation will be straightforward for anyone comfortable using a power drill and circular saw, but be forewarned that it will take a while to work through the 16 steps in the included instruction manual. However, the whole process is simplified thanks to the "easy-track" rail-install this first, and everything proceeds in a logical, easy-to-follow process from there. Poor packaging,

The picture looked good. It was exactly what I needed. However I never received it!
The reason is that the shipping packaging was so poor, the package fell apart during shipping and was never delivered. Not just once, but 3 times in a row! After each instance of tracking the shipment through FedEx, the reason for return was "Damaged product during shipment, returned to origin". I talked with Amazon, canceled the order and re-ordered. The same thing happened 3 times - damaged during shipment. This was NOT a FedEx problem. The company who ships this item uses very sub-standard packaging. I would try a 4th time to re-order, but not until I receive something from the "Company" (not Amazon) that their packaging methods have improved. Amazon did everything to help me in this matter, and I applaud them for their efforts.

I recently purchase this Easy Track deluxe tower along with two 72" towers, drawers, shelves, etc. It was very easy to install and I got my 10' x 6' walk-in closet done in one day by myself (including ripping out my old closet, patching, painting, etc). It would have been nice to have help, but I managed without my husband and while my preschooler was home. I do recommend having 2 drills so that you don't have to switch between a drill bit and the screwdriver bit. I don't know how great the value is a full price, but I found this on clearance at Fred Meyers for 70% off retail price so this system was a steal! My new closet is beautiful and everyone who has seen it loves it.

I did not buy this system on Amazon. I bought it at OSH in California. Some people have shipping problems, and OSH received their inventory via UPS, with no issues.
I installed this 8 foot starter kit, and added an additional 20 inches, as we have a very wide closet. The track sysyem is a pretty easy instal, when all is said and done. I recommend having the track along your entire wall (I had to cut mine, as OSH did not have 1 extra that we needed for the wide closet). Hanging the vertical panels is easy - getting them perfectly level (up and down) is not. Simple using the bars and shelves do not make it perfect. We added several screws into shelves and side walls for support (as in the shelves in the center tower are fixed with screws.) We also screwed in the the top shelf above the entire system for additional support. That being said, the bars and shelves/drawers are great, and 100% custom. I spent about 600 on all the components (cherry color) and it would cost 3-4K to have a "custom closet" company do the same thing. The cherry color is very nice, and not cheap looking at all. Really nice.
