3.0 out of 5 stars Easy Tree Guide, May 22, 2009
By
This review is from: The Easy Tree Guide: Common Native and Cultivated Trees of the United States and Canada (Falcon Guide) (Paperback)
I don't have other tree books to compare this one against, but it seems to be good enough for my needs. It's small in size so it's easy enough to pack along while hiking yet detailed enough to be able to get the ID work done. Some tree descriptions have good ID detail while others seem to be lacking detail, such as twig description for leaf-less ID (Winter time) tasks. It does a good ID job for Spring/Summer/Fall use.

Not to mention nicely illustrated. One page description with opposing page picture. A can't lose formula.
