I bought this book because I received a small booklet by Mary Lou Dempler with my first Ukulele and it made it surprisingly easy to get started. This book includes everything the small booklet had in it plus a whole lot more. I don't think there is a better beginners book for the Uke. It makes it accessible to the newb and very easy to play. It gives you the confidence that this is something that you can do!
