This is an absolutely awesome cookbook for those venturing into vegan eating. I'm often confused by what I can and cannot eat to be true to the vegan ways of eating, and this cookbook is really a huge help for me. I've prepared a couple of the recipes already, and had no problems following the cooking instructions, so I can say that it's very 'guy-friendly'. What ultimately got me to buy this vegan cookbook, was when I saw the comment the author posted on her fan page by Ricki Rockett. I'm an older rocker kinda of guy myself, but am also very sensitive to animal rights. I guess you could say I'm ok with being in touch with environmental and animal causes, even though that may or may not be the coolest thing to do. Anyways, this old rocker really digs this cookbook.

We are still moving in the direction of the vegan eating and this is a great start in that direction. I don't think we will ever become completely vegan, but this gives great starter recipes that allow you to add in whatever you want if necessary. Just a great basic book.
