Having been a vegetarian since I was nine years old, I am always on the lookout for ways to vary my diet and ensure that there are different food groups in my diet. However, I am a lousy cook and do not have much time to cook, so I usually end up with various frozen meals (of which there is not that much choice for veggies!). Getting this veggie cookbook has been a huge help, as it is packed with recipes - and these are ones that even I can follow, which is the best bit! The recipes in this book are simple and don't involve spending a small fortune on ingredients. For me, as a vegetarian, the recipes have provided me with a simple yet very effective way to vary my diet and enjoy some really tasty meals. I think this is a good choice for vegetarians (or those with vegetarians in the household) as well as for those who simply want to enjoy healthier meals that are simple to prepare.

I am so glad I got book. I was searching for a cookbook with simple recipes for my vegetarian daughter, who just got her own place and hates to spend time cooking. This book absolutely fits the bill. The recipes ARE easy, but also (at least the one's we've tried already) very tasty as well. I've served a few of these recipes, and even my "gotta have meat" spouse enjoyed them.

My wife and I are trying to eat healthier, and prepare more non-meat dishes. Neither one of us has lots of time to cook, nor are we chefs, so short and to the point cooking appeals to us. I picked this book up with hopes that it would fit into our busy lifestyle, and I am happy to say that it does. I actually prepared the grilled cabbage wedges along with some chicken breasts last night, and they turned out great. Very easy to use cookbook, that I would recommend to other couples, or anyone else trying, who are trying to eat more healthy.

This cookbook would be great for a teenager just learning to cook. It is too simple for anyone who already knows you can put different toppings on a potato and mix different veggies for a salad.
