I really like what I call the "full" and "power" stream settings.

*** UPDATE -- 4 years later ***

I'm still using this shower head and feel no need to buy another. It has unfortunately developed a slight leak at the rotating selector knob (black part), but it's just a trickle. Everything gets wet in the shower so it's not a big deal. I recently moved and the existing shower head was OK, a strange design with a spray ring and the hand held part fitting inside it. I used that one for a few times, then swapped it out for the EasySelect Medallion. Shower experience improved.

The finish on the head is a very thin shell of metal over plastic, which is fairly dent resistant. On the screw attachment to the cord, it's more like a metallic coating... which has rubbed off revealing while plastic underneath. This has happened because it rubs against the holder. But I consider this a very minor detraction. The friend who I gifted this to has gotten several of her friends to get this shower head as well and they're all happy with it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When it comes to showering, I'm a bit particular on the efficiency of water spray. Many shower heads are miserably deficient. Although my Waterpik Cascadia shower head had been working very well for me, I still kept my eye out for something better. For years, I didn't look like anything would be worthy to replace my Cascadia. And then, on a lark, I found this Waterpik Medallion shower head while shopping at Home Depot. I bought it for a friend who only uses hand-held shower heads. It's available on Amazon as you can see, but now it's more expensive and there's no free shipping.

First off, I immediately noticed the build quality of this shower head.

I was looking for new showerhead to purchase for when I move into my own apartment, and looked up several water saving showers, hand showers, and nice standard showers. I happened to come across this showerhead in a youtube video, and all my life I have used a hand shower, so I figured, if I'm to find a replacement showerhead for my apartment, I would like a hand held. I then read reviews on various ones, and the one with the best was the Easy Select LAT-569 followed by the Rain Spa Dual handheld rain shower. I decided to go to home depot and buy it to give it a test shot.

Every day, I use a fancy Hansgrohe Club Master wall mount, and on the side have an optional Grohe Relexa Plus hand held, and both of which cost over $100. Since my hand held is attached to a sliding rod, I removed my wall mount showerhead since I figured that would be easier, and it took me only 2 minutes to install the new LAT-569 hand shower. The only draw back is that the hose is a challenge to connect because it's like a snake that wants to stay in its coil, but after some uncoiling I was ready to test out my new shower, and all I can say is WOW

The Easy Select put both of my fancy Grohes to shame, it has better water pressure, kept up with my fancy Grohe thermometer setting better than the Grohe showers themselves, and on top of that, it gave me more body coverage too. The 5 and 1/2 inch blade/fan like shower head gave me a much better shower than my 2 Grohes, and because of the coverage, and greater height setting thanks to the pivot ball, I wasn't so close to the wall as I normally am.

As for the settings, the circular massage is soft, but then again I have low water pressure, but even with low water pressure, the soft circular massage felt great.

My morning shower is almost a ritual for me. Its where I wake up and start my day. The apartment complex in which I live has really low water pressure and in the morning, it is exceptionally low. So I have searched for a really good shower head for a long time. I went online to different websites, read customer reviews and purchased about 5 in the last 4 years. Then being tired of my current "LAZY" showerhead I went to Amazon and after seeing this showerhead and reading the reviews I bought The EasySelect Shower Head. Well I used it for the first time this today. All I can say is WOW, GOOD MORNING!!! I have finally found THE showerhead for me. I tried all the settings and they were all great. The strongest setting had the shampoo out of my hair in no time, great for when I'm running a little late. What a great way to start my morning. If anyone is looking for a powerful showerhead, search no more. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend the EasySelect Showerhead 5.

I really like what I call the "full" and "power" stream settings.

"Full" flow is a very nice deluge with the flow restrictor removed (see video on Waterpik website for instructions). The stream comes down in a melon-size area. I've traveled a fair bit and can't say I've ever stood under a shower I liked better.

"Power" is a more concentrated stream in an area encompassed by my thumb and middle finger, creating nice pressure that can be moved around for a massage. I use this setting most days also.

The actual "massage" setting is a mild pulsing circular spray that's too wimpy for my wife's taste, she was disappointed and I have not been using it either.

There is also a "mist" setting that's just on the edge of starting to produce needle spray without going over it. And finally a "1/2 flow." I don't use either of these.

The finish on the plastic really looks like brushed nickel, overally the appearance is nice.

It's really easy to install and to clean regularly, which was a requirement for me because we have tiny clogging pellets in our water that need to rinsed out of faucets periodically.

The hose is plastic too and doesn't just hang loosely, I had to work it to hang the way I wanted and not protrude into the shower.
