Answers the question "what can I do?",
This review is from: Eat It And Beat It: Getting Over Autism (Paperback)
What I like about the book is it provides a straightforward collection of things you can do to help your child, telling you how to do it, plus what happened to the author's children (and what didn't) when she did them. It's a map from someone who has navigated the choices for treatment (as well as inventing some new ones) and who has had success.

I highly recommend Jane's honest and informative book, Eat It and Beat It, to any parent of a newly diagnosed child. Jane has been through it and has come out successfully. Her recounts and explanations provide valuable insights for any parent going through the process of recovery of their child.~ Kathleen Reily Autism Help At Home [...] |
