Being already very active, I feel like nutrition is often the missing piece of the puzzle for me. Eat By Color really clarifys how the body functions and processes what we put in to it. I was impressed by how so much information was stated so simply with everything from meal ideas, grocery list to work out plans. Looking forward to recommending this book to friends and family.

I really like this Eat by Color method. Ray Binkowski makes a solid case for simple,diet-free weight loss--a person could live this way! Also, he shares his own inspiring success story and emphasizes clear goals and provides an easy to follow plan for healthy eating and physical health. Unlike a lot of weight-loss books, this one doesn't promise great results even if you're a couch potato. No, this author wisely teaches that regular weight training is am important part of any program, increasing the body's fat-burning muscles; in other words, more muscles equals more calorie-burning. I would wish for more creative meal plans with recipes included and a stronger case for avoiding alcohol, but overall this is a fine and useful book.

I've always considered myself healthy, active and fit. Job, age, and life in general have made it all too easy to turn the wrong corners in eating, which have in turn led to, well, less than A+ check-ups. Not five minutes into Ray's book, truth smacks you in the face: Eating Right is SIMPLE, if you stick to basics, cut out the obvious crap and utilize his easy to follow guidelines. Thanks Ray for breaking the science down into easy steps! This book is my new reference that will travel with me. Packs well also!

This is a helpful little book. Gives one a grocery list of items to keep on hand, breaks down the food choices and has an exercise portion that works well. I would recommend it.
