5.0 out of 5 stars Add 3 tablespoons of hilarity...
After I got my copy of "Eat Dangerously", I wondered how a cookbook could really be funny. Then I read it. These guys put a completely new spin on cooking. From the inserts, to the actual recipes, I must have cackled through the entire book. A definite "must-read" for anyone who enjoys cooking, food, or a good laugh. I highly recommend it...

I expected better, nothing was really over the top.
Alot of money for what you got, I can go on line to
2-3 recipe sites and probably find more exciting
recipes. I am a home cook who dabbles in gourmet cooking

Five stars for a couple of five star chefs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Freed from the repression of PC cookery, June 2, 2000
By A Customer

Tired of being bullied by the passive-aggressive sniffs and lifted eyebrows of the low-fat crowd? Arm yourself with this book! Don't be intimidated by those sanctimonious health-mongers! It is better to have real creme once a month than to have skimmed milk every day. The recipes are decadent, expensive and worth it. Eat well and prosper.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Cover-to-Cover Read!, December 8, 2000

This is the first cookbook that I have sat down and read cover-to-cover. The authors have a great sense of humor as well as excellent taste in food! The recipes are easy to follow, delicious, and sensuously sinful!

5.0 out of 5 stars Unbeatable international recipes + wicked humor!, April 14, 1999
This review is from: Eat Dangerously (Paperback)
The authors/chefs have created the most unique cookbook; they've taken the art of cooking to the next level! Indulge, indulge, indulge.

Pure ingredients = pure pleasure.

If you don't like to cook, just read the recipes! They're hilarious! This publication could double as a joke book!

This book is simply great! The best part of it is, undoubtely, the "end" - the exoctical, delicious dishes found there. Buy it and run to the kitchen!

Cooking will never be the same with this great guide of seductive recipes. It brings back the taste for good food in an era marked by repugnant fat-free neurotic garbage .

5.0 out of 5 stars Sexy and delicious, as good food and good sex !, April 22, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Eat Dangerously (Paperback)
This is a hilarious and revolutionary cookbook ! Nobody has described the pleasure of eating that way. It will teach you more than how to cook, it contains more than some receipts, it will introduce you to a new life stile, more pleasant and funnier. Food and seduction are mixed here, to help you to attract anybody you wish as, for example, a blond, intelligent (yes, it exists !!), and married woman ;-) . Yes, this book could change your entire life. Believe me, it has changed mine!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliantly innovative!! A book that enhances my lifestyle!, April 27, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Eat Dangerously (Paperback)
Eat Dangerously is the most unique cookbook I have come across. It mixes truffles with wit, culinary history with cream, and throws in a dash of saffron for flavor. If you enjoy luxury, then you will enjoy reading this cookbook.
