stunningly gorgeous, exceedingly grotesque and fun fun fun, June 15, 2005
This review is from: Eat My Heart Out (Audio CD)
kevin blechdom rips. "eat my heart out" is good for moving lips, bumping hips, getting tips, and pinching nips. she explores romance and dance, drugs and hugs, porcupines and broken spines. kevin blechdom rips. her new album is lusciously smart, not for the weak of heart... it speaks truth gushing forth a frothy blend of electro-banjo boobaliciousness unlike anything else heard before or after. this music has real function. it is moving. it is powerful. it is political and completely ridiculous. part-DADA, part-art. this music is the anti-TRANCE. i love it. and i love her. kevin blechdom rips.

Not for the normals..., December 7, 2007
This review is from: Eat My Heart Out (Audio CD)
Blechdom is a genius. If you're unfamiliar with her quirky brand of experimental electro-folk-pop, then this is a good place to start. Frighteningly memorable of mid to late 70s Residents with a healthy helping of 21st century wit. No games here folks. Filthy and fun as can be. Very colorful and, at times, bootylicious. Clearly a musician in her prime. Don't pass this one up... especially if you're a fan of music from the fringe.
