5.0 out of 5 stars Music from Andy Warhol films -- a must have!
This is a live performance of that music -- the first time presented in one recording. The sound quality and performances are excellent. I consider this to be one of the more important as well as infinitely listenable CDs in my music collection.

2.0 out of 5 stars oh no!
This CD is really good untill about the 5th track where it sort of turns into like 80's Cosby Show chamber music with vocals by the Lion King cast. It is really awful. and stupid sounding. It picks back up around track 12, but it's not worth buying in my opinion. I traded mine back in for store credit just today.

5.0 out of 5 stars Modern Music Lives!, February 8, 2008
This review is from: Eat/Kiss: Music For The Films Of Andy Warhol (Audio CD)
This is a great recording to put on and let play while you do things around the house. One of the other reviews said that it reminded them of the Lion King. I disagree with that statement. That section never fails to bring a smile to my face ("how does that guy do that with his voice?"). The program also features a version of Nico's Frozen Warnings. Nice touch John. However, my favorite performance comes from Mo Tucker and her heartbeat drumming. It provides a great groove to what the string quartet is doing. If you're a fan of John Cale or modern music I would highly recommend this disc. I've had a copy of several years now and I've never grown tired of it.
