I've never heard of this girl, but I liked the album cover so I bought the mp3 -- and it is AMAZING. I want more of her stuff but her CD is import only on amazon.

Regardless - if you like Britney/Christina/Natasha/Katy - BUY THIS. This girl blows them out of the water!!

I listen to alot of Kpop so I was looking foward to BoA's english release. I have agree with others that I love the chorus and it does get stuck in your head. The song makes you want to get up and dance. For anyone unsure because she's korean, don't let that be a factor. I'm a middle class mom of two boys and listen to music by her and other Kpop artists everyday.

This song is very catchy and with the strong choreography that accompanies it, BoA is going in strong! Once you get past the meaning of the lyrics, it's a good song to jam to.

The female Justin Timberlake!?
Ok, b4 u ppl say "what?!" or "no way!", let me explain. Athough she has
not written as many songs or played any instruments, she is only 21
and has been performing since the age of 13. This Asian Pop Princess
performs wit such dance moves n energy that very few people have. In
fact, Britney Spears (pre kids) visited Korea once and performed on the
same stage (tho at different times) for a BoA/Britney Xmas Special. And
although Britney was more sultry, she was simply not up to par with the
energy that BoA brought to her performance.
I have been a fan of BoA ever since she debut and have never tried
to learn Korean or Japanese. So even tho I did not understand what she
was saying, I could not and still cannot help myself dance every time
a song of hers comes on. Heck, isn't music supposed to be universal
anyways? I didn't even mention her beautiful voice on her slow songs
or that she's quite a looker.
My girlfriend and I have seen JT live in concert twice already. But it is
BoA that Im dying to see live... regardless of what language she is
singing in :)
As for her American debut song, Eat You Up, I agree it IS repetitive. But
so was Sexyback.. and we all know where that went heh. So its a great
start to a hopefully growing and lasting American music career... ^_^

I've been a fan of BoA for many years, but when I saw the trailers for Eat You Up in English I kinda doubted how good the music and music video would be.

However, after seeing the music video and listening to the whole song, I've been listening to it over and over again, and since I love to dance, this song appeals to me on so many levels!
