This is an excellent source for those who already have some knowledge of eating disorders and want a more in depth look at the behaviors and histories often associated with them. For those who are new to the subject, I recommend Mary Pipher's book Hunger Pains.

This is a good book, if you're looking for the more informative aspects of all eating disorders. The writing is very dry, does not include emotion, and is meant for educational purposes. This book was an easy read, not too much technical jargon to sort through. For what it is, it is a good book, though I'm sure there are other books on the topic that go further in depth into the details of each seperate disorder. This book shortly touched on various types of disorders, as opposed to really digging into each one.
