Many. And I do mean many, since many of the obese are also eating-disordered. And very few of them truly recover. I've just come through with an intimate friend who had not had an anorexia nervosa episode in decades. And here she was, post-menopausal, falling down the rabbit hole again. She nearly died, and in fact, is suffering some problems from it, AND is struggling against another relapse. AN is a hellacious mental illness: a real monkey on her back.
